Derek B aka EZQ - Rest In Peace
UK Hip Hop Pioneer DJ Derek B passed away yesterday. The instrumental of his 1987 jam "Rock The Beat" is said to be the foundation of New Orleans Bounce Music !
I played his remix of Eric and B and Rakim's Paid and Full the other day.
